Voting TaKtiX

Is anyone else having problems getting posts to publish? I write up a post, I get a ‘please republish your blog in ten minutes’ error. I do that, I get the same error. But as soon as someone comments on a post, the problem is fixed and the new post is published.

Very weird, and rather frustrating. Ah well.

Oh, the new colour background is growing on me now, so it might stay until I write my own template from scratch, even if it is a little grey and sludge like ;-)

Well, my post from last night has generated some comments here and elsewhere, and another post on United Irelander. Specifically, I’ve just had a comment from ‘an deoraíocht’ of The Northern Irish Magyar, and it’s both a good one and specifically disagreeing with a number of my points; I typed up a response, but it’s long enough to justify a follow up post. In a comment on the Monarchy post, Bondwoman asked for a black text on white background, DK replied reminding me why I’ve always preferred the other way around without remembering why; it’s to do with photons on the screen &c.

So, anyway, thought I’d try his suggestion; I’ve saved the old colour scheme, can revert back easily; opinions? Better, worse, don’t care?
